KNOXVILLE COMPANY PROMOTES GIVEAWAY TO DONATE CASH TO SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK

Maggie Bags™ will donate up to $2000 cash to
feed families this Christmas

Maggie Bags™ is sponsoring a handbag giveaway on their website and through their social media channels December 8 – 18, 2012. Maggie Bags™ will donate $1 to Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee for every entry into the giveaway up to $2000.

“Maggie Bags™ has very generous customers and fans so we found a creative way to get them involved. We will be encouraging our fans on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and our blog to enter the giveaway themselves and tell their friends about it. They have a chance to win a free handbag but more importantly a $1 donation can provide three meals to people who are not thinking about handbags this Christmas,” says Kerri Karel, Senior Director of Marketing of Maggie Bags™. “The Cicily Tote, one of our most popular bags this Holiday Season and is sold out in Dark Red. We held one back to offer as the prize for this giveaway with a purpose.”

Elaine Sterno, Executive Director of Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee said receiving cash donations is critical to their operations.

“Every city has those who are in need and Knoxville is not different. We want to help people in our own community this Christmas. Maggie Bags™ is thrilled to provide some much needed cash support to Second Harvest Food Bank to help feed families in our own backyard,” says Steve Dew President and CEO of Maggie Bags™.

People may enter the giveaway by visiting any of Maggie Bags™ social media platforms or their website at www.maggiebags.net. Maggie Bags™ social media platforms where the giveaway will be visible are listed below:
